About the Association
Al Fajr Palestinian Youth Association was established in 2002 in Gaza as a leading NGO in sustainable development and community support. We are committed to enhancing our emergency response and long-term recovery capabilities, focusing on multiple programs that include emergency relief, reconstruction, and community resilience. We focus on empowering youth, women, and children through educational initiatives, psychosocial support, and cultural economic development. Our work aims to build a cohesive and strong society capable of facing challenges and rebuilding the future with confidence and sustainability.
General Goal
Empowering youth, women, and children in various social, cultural, and economic fields, ensuring the building of a cohesive society that enjoys social justice and equality.
Specific Goals
Working to enhance the economic empowerment of youth and women by supporting small projects and entrepreneurial initiatives, and providing employment and vocational training opportunities that contribute to economic independence and sustainability.
Contributing to rebuilding infrastructure and damaged homes in cooperation with local and international partners, focusing on adopting sustainable practices that ensure safe and stable housing and support sustainable development.
Providing comprehensive psychosocial support programs aimed at enhancing resilience and empowering youth, women, and children to rebuild their lives following crises, through psychological and community guidance and counseling.
Supporting education and awareness through educational and training programs targeting youth, women, and children, to empower them to participate effectively in community development processes and increase awareness of their rights and duties in society.
Developing and strengthening partnerships with government institutions and local and international NGOs to improve multidimensional response and enhance coordination and joint efforts to achieve comprehensive community recovery.
Enhancing institutional efficiency by training staff and building their capacities in emergency response, sustainable recovery, and project management, to ensure the provision of high-quality services that contribute to rebuilding and supporting the community.
