Continued Relocation of Families from the Seashore to the East Hamad Shelter Centre

With support from the Arab International Commission for Reconstruction in Palestine, AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association continues relocating families affected along the seashore to the East Hamad Shelter Centre in Khan Younis. This intervention forms part of the urgent humanitarian response aimed at providing safer and more stable shelter.
Field teams have so far successfully relocated 235 families, providing the necessary assistance to facilitate their transfer and settlement within the centre. Field operations are continuing to relocate the remaining targeted families in accordance with the approved plan.
This intervention responds to the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by families living along the seashore and the risks caused by changing weather conditions, high waves, and seawater flooding their tents.
