AlFajr and Al-Qarara Municipality Discuss Launching Land-Leveling Works in West Al-Qarara as Part of the Community Resettlement Project

As part of completing the first phase of the initiative titled “Debris Removal and Community Resettlement in Al-Mahatta, Asqoul Al-Katiba, East Al-Satar, West Al-Satar, and West Al-Qarara,” AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association held a coordination meeting with Al-Qarara Municipality.
The Municipality was represented by its Mayor, His Excellency Engineer Bassem Sharrab “Abu Ashraf,” and the accompanying delegation. Both parties discussed the necessary preparations for launching land-leveling works in West Al-Qarara.
The meeting addressed the technical and field procedures required to facilitate the organized and effective implementation of the works. It also focused on defining the roles of participating stakeholders and strengthening coordination to ensure that activities proceed according to the approved arrangements.
The debris removal and land-leveling activities aim to prepare affected sites and facilitate families’ access to them, supporting the completion of resettlement procedures and improving conditions for residents returning to their communities.
Both parties emphasized the importance of continued coordination and field monitoring throughout the implementation stages to ensure the completion of the required works, support affected families, and facilitate their safe and orderly return.
