2025/10/07
As part of its emergency humanitarian response in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association conducted an awareness session for women on preparing bread dough in accordance with the operating requirements of the new semi-automatic ovens.
The session provided practical guidance on dough ingredients, preparation, fermentation, and readiness for baking. These instructions aim to improve product quality, enhance oven efficiency, and ensure the continuity of bread services for displaced families.
The activity is part of the project titled “Equipping Ovens to Produce Free Bread for Displaced Families in Al-Mawasi,” funded by the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), as part of ongoing efforts to meet the essential food needs of affected families.
The project aims to strengthen food security, improve the efficiency of bread preparation and production, and equip women with the knowledge and skills needed to support their families and contribute actively to community resilience amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
