Delegation from Alfajr Palestinian Youth Association Visits UNDP to Congratulate Mr. Amjad Al-Shawa and Explore Future Cooperation

A delegation from Alfajr Palestinian Youth Association visited the offices of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to extend its congratulations to Mr. Amjad Al-Shawa on his appointment as Programme Manager and to discuss opportunities for strengthening future collaboration.
The Association’s delegation included Mr. Abdullah Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Abdelhai Al-Farra, Executive Director; and Eng. Mohammed Al-Qedra, Projects Manager. They were received by Mr. Amjad Al-Shawa, Programme Manager, and Mr. Tareq Shtayat, Economic Empowerment and Emergency Employment Manager at UNDP, in the presence of Dr. Mousa Al-Astal, Advisor to the Steering Committee.
As a gesture of appreciation, the delegation presented a commemorative shield to Mr. Al-Shawa, expressing their recognition of his dedicated professional contributions and wishing him success in his new role.
The meeting included discussions on prospects for cooperation between Alfajr Palestinian Youth Association and UNDP. Participants reviewed available opportunities and programmes that could support development projects and youth-focused initiatives, with particular emphasis on mechanisms for enhancing economic empowerment and sustainable development to better serve local communities.
The participants underscored the strategic importance of expanding partnership and coordination between civil society organizations and international agencies to achieve sustainable development impact and support youth and the most vulnerable groups.
